🚨 BREAKING: CHARLES OKOCHA DEFEATS PORTABLE IN EXPLOSIVE BOXING REMATCH 🚨

Nollywood actor Charles Okocha has finally settled the score with street-pop singer Portable after emerging victorious in their highly anticipated celebrity boxing rematch, following a stunning disqualification.

The bout, heavily hyped and tagged “Unfinished Business,” was held on Friday, July 31, 2026, at the luxurious Balmoral Convention Centre, Federal Palace Hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos. The rematch was organized to give Okocha a crucial opportunity to avenge his controversial defeat to Portable in their initial 2023 showdown.

THE FIGHT DESCENDS INTO CHAOS

The contest began exactly as fans hoped, with both entertainers ferociously exchanging punches. However, the fight quickly took a dramatic and bizarre turn. The match devolved from a structured boxing bout into a wild, wrestling-style confrontation, forcing the referee to step in and temporarily halt the action to separate the two stars.

“The match descended into a wrestling-style confrontation, forcing the referee to temporarily halt the action.”

As the explosive opening round came to an end, the drama peaked. Portable shockingly exited the ring before the second round could even begin. Although the singer later returned to the squared circle, officials firmly ruled that he had failed to resume the contest within the required time limit.

Consequently, Portable was disqualified, officially awarding the much-coveted victory to Charles Okocha.

REACTIONS & ALLEGATIONS

The unexpected conclusion stunned fans packed inside the venue and instantly sparked widespread reactions across social media, with netizens fiercely debating the bizarre circumstances surrounding the final result.

For Charles Okocha, the victory represents a long-awaited and sweet revenge. The actor had repeatedly insisted over the years that his 2023 defeat was unfairly decided in Portable’s favour. Meanwhile, the stinging defeat marks Portable’s second consecutive loss in the realm of celebrity boxing, coming shortly after his unanimous decision defeat to Carter Efe.

Reacting furiously after the fight, Portable refused to accept the outcome quietly. The street-pop sensation alleged that Okocha fought dirty, claiming the actor bit him and placed him in a vicious chokehold during the contest. He argued passionately that the match had turned into a wrestling bout rather than a legitimate boxing fight.

“Portable alleged that Okocha bit him and placed him in a chokehold… displaying injuries on his back.”

To back up his claims, the singer displayed what he described as visible injuries on his back and other parts of his body, insisting he had been in full control of the fight before the controversial stoppage.

The result brings yet another chaotic chapter of the long-running rivalry between the two entertainers to a close. A feud that originally began over a bitter business dispute in 2023 has now been settled in the ring—though if history is any indication, the war of words is far from over.
