In late 2015, the goat was dropped into the snowy enclosure of a Siberian tiger named Amur. The dynamic was supposed to be simple: the tiger was the predator, and the goat was the prey, scheduled as part of Amur’s twice-weekly live feedings. He began pushing Amur too far, reportedly kicking the tiger and pushing him off a hill. Nature eventually intervened; Amur lost his patience, grabbed Timur by the scruff of the neck, and tossed him. Though Timur survived with minor injuries, park officials safely separated the two forever.
The ultimate takeaway? Face your fears and stand your ground, but always maintain a healthy respect for the dangers you’re navigating. Courage is vital, but so is wisdom!
