SHOCKING BETRAYAL: Renowned Lagos Doctor Sentenced to LIFE Imprisonment for Raping Wife’s Niece!

LAGOS — In a staggering fall from grace that has sent shockwaves through the Nigerian medical community, the prominent Medical Director of the Optimal Cancer Care Foundation, 57-year-old Dr. Olufemi Olaleye, has been handed a devastating double life sentence!

The horrific verdict, delivered by Justice Rahman Oshodi at the Lagos State Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence Court in Ikeja, exposed the deeply sinister double life of the celebrated physician. Behind closed doors, this doctor subjected his wife’s 15-year-old niece to a gruesome 20-month nightmare of defilement and sexual assault between March 2020 and November 2021.

In a desperate, eleventh-hour attempt to cover his tracks and buy his way out of justice, the disgraced doctor allegedly tried to silence his traumatized victim with a blood-money bribe of N1.5 million. But the truth could not be buried! The court completely dismantled his web of lies—which included a claim that his wife had “tutored” the girl to lie in a scheme to steal his property.

Justice Oshodi found the evidence undeniable and the prosecution’s case rock-solid, boldly declaring that the convict’s name will now be permanently branded in the Lagos State Sexual Offenders Register. As he was hauled away to rot in a prison cell with his sentences running concurrently, the public reeled from the horrifying reality: a trusted lifesaver was actually a predator hiding in plain sight.
